• Lab Assistant
  • la4demo.zip (320K)
    Lab Assistant Version 4.3 demonstration release. This release has a 50 record maximum and does not include support for electronic instruments.
  • reporter.zip (86K)
    A report and label generator for UCSB Repository-format databases. Produces a hardcopy report in the "Archaeological Coding Sheet" format.
  • txt2mnu.zip (104K)
    Utility which processes changes to Lab Assistant menu item files over 64KB in size.
  • ucsbmenu.zip (53K)
    A Lab Assistant menu item file which contains the UCSB Archaeological Coding System Version 7. This system is used for archaeological cataloging of materials curated at the University of California, Santa Barbara's Repository for Archaeological and Ethnographic Collections. Included are the standard UCSB database structure and menus presenting over 3,500 selections for fields such as artifact class, artifact description, unit type, recovery type, material, and modification. Menu selections cover both prehistoric and historic artifacts.
